Caring For Orphans

Freedom’s Dream Global is proud to announce its partnership with Jonas Pierre, who is poised to establish the “Jonas Foundation for a New Haiti.” Currently pursuing a medical degree, Jonas has been actively involved in serving communities and providing for abandoned children in Haiti since 2015. Initially supporting 150 children with limited resources from his own earnings, Jonas’s selfless efforts have been sustained with the help of his mother, who cooks the food to support this noble cause.

Our five-year program seeks to foster a healthy environment for orphans in Haiti. We’ll identify the most vulnerable children, create individual care plans, and ensure they grow up in a safe, loving, and compassionate environment for a brighter future for them and their families.

Challenges

The orphan population in Haiti faces significant challenges, including food insecurity, lack of shelter, and limited access to education and healthcare. Jonas and his team have tirelessly worked on a volunteer basis since 2015 to address these challenges, striving to provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing to orphaned children. Despite their dedication, the lack of funding has been a major obstacle, hindering their ability to expand their programs and provide a more comprehensive and structured support system for the long term.
