Freedom’s Dream Global is proud to announce its partnership with REPEPTO, a commendable initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funding for environmental education in Haiti. Led by Gregori Petit, REPEPTO endeavors to protect Haiti’s fragile ecosystem and harness its richness to develop sustainable solutions for landscape restoration. Gregori’s commitment extends further as he has authored a curriculum textbook currently under review for integration into Haiti’s educational system, aiming to enrich students’ understanding of environmental conservation from a young age.

In the realm of United Nations mission support, Gregori Petit has immersed himself, finding inspiration and knowledge in an exceptional environmental program. Through these experiences, a fervent dedication to environmental protection has ignited within him. Hence, Gregori embarked on the journey to establish REPEPTO, a significant movement aimed at raising awareness for nature conservation in Northern Haiti. Founded as a non-profit organization in Cap-Haitien in September 2020, REPEPTO strives to instill an ecological mindset among the Haitian populace, fostering an environmental renaissance and advocating for eco-tourism in the region.

At the core of REPEPTO’s strategy lies education, delivered through an extensive program of hands-on activities. These activities range from waste sorting initiatives and the establishment of school gardens to the dissemination of ecological concepts among children and the general public in local markets. Additionally, REPEPTO endeavors to promote waste sorting practices within households and other institutions throughout Cap-Haitien.

Equipped with a background in business administration from the University Notre Dame of Haiti (UNDH), Gregori leverages his expertise as an experienced Airbnb host operating within the tourism sector. Through his role, he orchestrates captivating tourist excursions, showcasing the natural splendor of the Haitian landscape while guiding visitors to various scenic locales. To amplify their reach and impact, REPEPTO maintains a YouTube channel under the same name, where they showcase their environmental and touristic endeavors for the world to witness.
